Using Technology to Quickly Create Semi/ Auto-graded Practice Materials

Abstract: This hands-on session consists of a “how-to” workshop for anyone interested in learning how to create digital practice materials that are graded quickly or automatically. In this session, a brief overview will be provided on identifying learning targets from an existing curriculum and sequencing them. Following the overview, a detailed demonstration will be provided on how to capture time and create practice materials for students. The demonstration will show how to use free and inexpensive technology such as Google Forms, Nearpod, Snagit, Microsoft Excel, Canvas, FlipGrid, and other technology for developing the practice materials.
