What if you had the power and knowledge to scale curriculum to fit the needs of each learner? Imagine the academic and emotional growth that could be produced when the learner works on scalable curricula and is allowed to progress at his/her own pace. While this need is recognized by the educational and therapeutic communities at large, the wide-scale application is often lacking to the degree that it is effective. Teachers, homeschool families, and skills-based therapists (e.g., SLPs, BCBAs, OTs) are often trained on specific assessments, curricula, or subject areas instead of the analyses that can be extended to any skill set.
This 8-hour workshop will focus on general understanding of component/composite behaviors, how their analysis can be applied to a wide array of skills and learners, and scalable ways to track individual and group performance to ensure progress.Attendees will walk away with tools, resources, and the beginnings of self-created curriculum.
Dr. Milyko is a dynamic speaker, who brings a down-to-earth style to a complex subject, making her a sought-after presenter in education, behavior analysis, and Precision Teaching. Dr. Milyko owns two learning centers in Florida and is currently leading a community education mission in Nevada, bringing learning science to parents and educators. Continuing education units available!
Lunch will be catered on site for attendees.

I won’t be in Phoenix that day – can I participate remotely?
Yes! We have made arrangements to have the workshop webcast via Zoom! Please go ahead and register, then send the organizer an email requesting a link to the Zoom feed.
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Event attendees are working professionals and students. If you need assistance with child care, please contact the organizer. Members of the military who have used discount code will want to bring their ID.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Plenty of free parking is available on site.
What can I bring into the event?
Bring a laptop to access the materials provided by the presenter.

Online registration is all you need. A printed ticket is not required.
I see this event is held at SARRC. Is it only for people who work with children on the autism spectrum?
Learning science and curriculum development is applicable to all instructors, whether they are teachers, OTs, PTs, homeschool moms and dads, or therapists. Everyone is welcome!
