Charting Standards

Charting Standards of the SCS

The Standard Celeration Society (SCS) was founded by Ogden R. Lindsley, Jr. He envisioned an organization that would promote and support worldwide use of the standard celeration technology. The SCS is the logical group to establish standards for the society. However, the SCS does not claim ownership or any legal jurisdiction over the Standard Celeration Chart or other displays of standard celeration.

The Standards of The SCS

Below are two videos relating to recommended standards for charted data:

Displays that maintain Standard Celeration

The first document addresses how to ensure that the STANDARD CELERATION measure is retained in displays that vary from the original Standard Celeration Chart (SCC).

The Standard Celeration Chart (SCC)

The second document highlights the history of the development of the SCC and makes a case for maintaining a standard frame for viewing performance frequencies.
