| What is Precision Teaching? Precision teaching uses the standard celeration chart to observe and improve human learning and interaction. This chart displays the frequency of performance and its celeration, that is, the growth of learning across time. There are daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly charts that display a variety of behaviors. All standard celeration charts show the original data in the form of frequency; these data are analyzed by their celeration and bounce.
The most common present use is in special and regular education where the 1-min timing has resulted in research-developed frequency and celeration aims for academic behaviors. - Abigail Calkin, March 25, 2011 Kent Johnson's 2008 entry for the Encyclopedia of Educational Psychology |
