Registration for IPTC 2008

Active Image

The IPTC 2008 Program and registration has been delayed by three weeks because of a major problem with a contractor, openjack.com in Kansas City, KS, who had been contracted to do some major overhauling of our registration system since July 10th.

We've been working with OpenJack president Dashaun Carter to make our registration and membership process seamless, with a deadline of August 15.  The deadline was missed, but then pushed to late August, with some progress being made.  I found out in early September that OpenJack was withdrawing from the project because they felt too much pressure to make the deadline (which they had passed by weeks by that point).

Thankfully, Ben Merbitz's company, XIG.net, has stepped in to make retistration better than last year, although far from what we would like to see it become.  Because of switching generals in the middle of a war, we will not be ready until September 15th, but the full program and registration will be available at that time.

We appreciate your patience.  Please avoid doing business with Openjack in KC, and direct all future business to XIG and Ben Merbitz.
